On average each person on earth owns 52 LEGO bricks.
There are 102.981.500 different ways of combinig six eight stud bricks.
With an annual output of 306 million tyres LEGO is the world's largest tyre manufacturer.
The accurancy when manufacturing a LEGO brick is measured to 2/1000 of a mm.

Designboom and Macef have launched an online competition. Participants are requested to develop a container to be filled with water. Registration will be accepted until november 15 and works can be submitted through november 30 2003. First Prize will receive 5000 euro.
Winning entries and a selection of the works sent in will be shown at the next MACEF spring salon, which will be held in milan from january 30 to february 2, 2004.
