Oficina Nomade

Oficina Nomade is a project aimed at rediscovering the genuine value of the amazon culture created by argentinian designer Christian Ullmann and brasilian Tania de Paula. The bases of the project are sustainable production and design, contributing to educate artisans and develop local economies.
Oficina Nomade works with several designers, artisans and communities manufacturing semi-handicrafted products that exploit the amazon creativity, local know how and genuine brazilian materials such as wood, natural fiber, bambu, seeds of local trees and palms, coconut, natural latex, handicraft paper, fish skin and ceramics.

The collection has been exhibited in several shows including Macef 2002 in Milan and has received several prizes. In the photos Taui stool design Sergio Fahrer e Christian Ullmann ;Jarina Lamp design Tania de Paula e Christian Ullmann e Curadoria Amazonia Design exhibition.
